Update: I finished Draft 1 of Book 3

On August 12, I set out to write Book 3 in my Crown of Tír na nÓg series. I wrote a blog post about it a little while back (you can read it here). Today, on November 10, I put down the final words. I haven’t quite reached the word count I had aimed for but it was only an estimation anyway. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and even though it felt bittersweet writing an ending to a trilogy that has been with me for about 7 years, I’m giddy with excitement. Draft 1 is only the beginning. I’ve laid the foundation for my next novel. But first: time to relax!
